I have been playing the drums since 2000, having lessons for several years from a number of teachers before giving lessons myself, and now have experience of teaching both adults and children.
I have live playing experience and regularly play with other musicians. My interest in a diverse range of music styles is reflected in my approach to drum kit playing and teaching. My personal approach to drumming focuses on the practical and creative side of music, backed up by a sound knowledge of theory. I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Music Technology, so also have an understanding of the technical side of music recording and production.
